Heartland Motorsports Park stands out as one of the world’s finest, multi-purpose racing and entertainment destinations. Located on the south side of Topeka, the facility covers approximately 650 acres and provides ample room for its many racing and motorsports venues.

Built in 1927, the building now serves as a museum celebrating Topeka’s rich history as well as a special event and meeting venue. Visitors to the museum can learn about area railroads including the Santa Fe/BNSF, Union Pacific, Rock Island, Missouri Pacific and Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad.

Nestled in Gage Park, the Topeka Zoological Park was founded in 1933, and renamed the Topeka Zoo and Conservation Center in 2016 to better reflect their endeavors. Proudly accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, the Topeka Zoo strives to enrich the community through wildlife conservation and education.

The Kansas Children’s Discovery Center is a hands-on children’s museum with a mission to enhance the lives of children and enrich the communities it serves. Since opening in 2011 in Topeka, the Discovery Center has become a special place where children can explore, create, discover and learn through play. The museum has hosted visitors from all 50 states and 23 countries.
